Steve is a licensed architect in Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Minnesota, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming, and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley.  With over 25 years in consulting, design and construction management, Steve specializes in forensic consulting, repair design, and expert witness testimony for mediation, arbitration, and trial settings.  His experience includes architectural and construction related issues such as code compliance, fire resistive and smoke control assemblies, building envelope failures, architectural standard of care, product manufacturer’s requirements, schedule delay, design errors, design changes, incomplete work, contract interpretation, and allowable costs, among others.  Steve approaches life with a balanced intensity.  While at the office, Steve enjoys the challenge of solving complex problems through the careful analysis of the details and the application of his knowledge.   Steve enjoys spending time with his children and to provide some balance, Steve studies the martial art Aikido and practices yoga.

Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry.  Martin has extensive experience in large and complex construction and design claims.  After years spent as a claims analyst for large commercial and residential projects, Mr. Jenkins provides expertise in the evaluation of design and construction defects, contract evaluation and interpretation, schedule delay, and construction cost impacts.  Martin utilizes his detailed yet inquisitive nature to complement his knowledge in construction and design.  Martin enjoys supporting his children’s passion for competitive sports.  When he is  not working, Martin and his children enjoy traveling.  Martin is also a passionate runner, logging 150 miles a month.


Carl Cross, RA


Carl is a licensed architect in Texas and Colorado with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University.  He has over 20 years of experience in the architectural industry, including 7 years owning and managing a small firm in Northern Colorado. Carl has designed, detailed and managed numerous multi-family, single-family, commercial and light industrial projects.  Carl’s attention to detail is an asset in his building envelope research and investigation, repair design and 3-D modeling, and building code analysis.  In addition to architecture, Carl enjoys music and outdoor activities with his wife and two children. He can be found gigging with his acoustic guitar at the local coffee shop, singing duets with the family and spending time hiking, swimming, snow and water skiing, horseback riding at the farm, or just tossing the baseball in the back yard.



Amanda Arnold


Amanda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Kentucky College of Design and has 9 years of experience in the architecture industry.  Her experience includes work on custom single family residential projects and commercial projects in Colorado, Kentucky, and Texas. Amanda assists with analysis of project documents, forensic field investigations and analysis of field data.
