Steve Norwood, AIA

President

Steve holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley and is a licensed Architect in multiple States. With over 35 years in consulting, design and construction management, Steve specializes in forensic consulting, repair design, and expert witness testimony for mediation, arbitration, and trial settings. His experience includes architectural and construction related issues such as code compliance, fire resistive and smoke control assemblies, building envelope failures, architectural standard of care, product manufacturer’s requirements, design errors, design changes, incomplete work, contract interpretation, and allowable costs, among others. Steve approaches life with a balanced intensity. While at the office, Steve enjoys the challenge of solving complex problems through the careful analysis of the details and the application of his knowledge. Steve enjoys spending time traveling, hiking, and fishing.

Martin Jenkins

Vice President

Martin holds an engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado. Martin has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry that includes construction management, owner’s representative, design and construction defect investigations, and construction claim entitlement analysis on buildings and heavy civil projects. Martin has wide range of experience working on construction and design claims on both commercial and residential building projects. Martin has performed construction claim entitlement and/or change order analysis for breach of contract, owner-directed changes, contract terminations, defective plans and specifications, construction defects, and design errors and omissions. Outside of work, Martin is an avid runner and enjoys hiking and climbing in the Colorado mountains.
